With more than a decade as a business owner, former educator, and organizational architect, she’s built a career on cutting through noise and making complex ideas workable.
She’s known for spotting the cracks in a process, finding the opportunity hiding there, and building solutions that actually stick. Her mix of real-world business acumen and deep understanding of human behavior means clients don’t just get a plan — they get one that works in practice, not just on paper.
Outside of Rooted Authority, Jennifer runs a successful organization and coaching business, keeps a well-fed household (by choice, not compulsion), and is unapologetically opinionated about football.

Ashley Velez is a digital strategist who treats marketing like an engineering project — every element measured, tested, and refined until it works. With 15+ years in the field, she’s led campaigns, built brands, and delivered results for businesses from startups to established industry players.
Her strength lies in turning raw data into actionable strategy. She can look at a spreadsheet of analytics and spot the story it’s telling — then translate it into a marketing plan that hits the right audience, at the right time, for the right reason.
When she’s not mapping out a campaign, you can find Ashley rolling on the jiu-jitsu mat, deep in a playlist of metal riffs, or enjoying movie night with her family. She brings the same focus and grit to her personal passions that she does to the work she leads inside Rooted Authority.
